iPhone 5 Release Date & Overview

Apple has provided little innovation from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S. It is imperative for Apple that the iPhone 5 contain new features, as this is the only way iPhone 5 can be filed as powerful.
The rumor mill is brewing, and in addition to a larger display, which is rumored to be between 4.0 inches and 4.6 inches, a smaller dock connector seems to be certain as well.
This is a small overview of the latest rumors on the iPhone 5 and what we might expect:

Release Date

After iOS 6 was unveiled at the WWDC, many started to believe in an iPhone 5 release datein early autumn. However, October seems quite realistic, because the iPhone 4S was presented last year at this time. Some sources say it will be presented August 7th, which also makes sense, because Apple could want to capitalize on the purchasing power the school year brings. Nevertheless, the rumors about a possible presentation in August or September persist.

3D camera

Supposedly, an adequate iPhone 5 prototype has been sighted. The iPhone 5 prototype was equipped with a 3D camera, this function can switched by pressing a key. This information comes from an alleged relative of an Apple employee.

Quad-core processor

The 4-core processor impressed many with the Samsung Galaxy S3. The performance seems to have found approval from Apple, because recent reports say the company has ordered the chip from Samsung. Both companies are silent on this subject.

In-cell touch panel

Not only the size of the display is expected to be changed, changes will be made in the technology as well. This so-called in-cell touch panel multi-touchscreen has the sensor layer incorporated directly into the display. This is usually in a separate glass plate on the actual display. The use of such panels are not only thinner, but also lighter weight is possible.

Nano-SIM

It has already been reported in the prior week, that Apple will want to celebrate their triumph in the struggle for the new SIM-card by the use of it in the new iPhone 5. European mobile operators were already preparing for a big demand. The advantage for Apple lies in the fact that the Nano-SIMS are smaller by up to 40 percent, and room for other hardware would be available.

LTE and NFC

In addition to NFC, Near Field Communication, the new data transfer standard LTE is also expected to be on the iPhone 5. Both technologies are a premium among manufacturers in recent times, so it is imperative that Apple follow suit here.
As always, Apple keeps a closed mouth regarding the rumors circulating on the net about the iPhone 5 release date. The company enjoys the attention that comes with the Apple iPhone 5. Be sure you subscribe to stay updated with the latest gadget news.
